Job Details & Key Attributes
Context: ArcelorMittal Energy team is a corporate global entity of the ArcelorMittal group aimed at providing the group with global energy expertise including the purchasing and financing of energy projects. Its purchasing activities cover natural gas, electricity, industrial gases, biomass, ethanol, and others new energy commodities. Objectives: The team is requiring a junior analyst in charge of performing different energy related market or regulations studies (inc. focus on supplier base strategy) which conclusions will enable the trainee to propose Purchasing strategy recommendations for different energy categories either on a global perimeter or on a regional basis, and more specifically to develop and improve the internal model for long term forecast prices all over the world, taking into account in particular: - Green energy development and its impact on electricity market price and grid reinforcements - Cross borders exchanges between countries - Assessing the capacity markets in some specific European countries - Bio Ethanol, or bio plastic Geographical scope of mission: - worldwide with prime focus on Europe (East & West) - Official language in day-to-day activities: English.
